Surprise revamp! I had no plans at all to work on this, but one thing led to another and here we are: the Zack/Aerith (FFVII) fanlisting has been revamped. It’s been moved at long last over to Lucky Sevens, my FFVII collective, and at some point in the future it’ll be expanded into a fansite. No planned date on that either; I expect it’ll be just as unplanned as this was.

As promised in the last post: new site! I’ve opened a fansite for my favorite Water-type Pokémon, Gyarados, called Level 20. The site itself ended up being as much a reflection about the series itself as it is about Gyarados, and as a result it’s a lot more personal than my other Pokémon sites. Enjoy!
Rare Candy and my other Pokémon sites have been updated to reflect the new site.
I’ve also edited the sites section on the main network a little, although I’m planning on revamping it with the next layout. The coming soon section features my overall plans for 2016 in rough order of when I’d like to get them done. (Now that I’ve said that it’ll never happen that way, but oh well.)

Finishing up the last few stragglers on the great fanlisting recode project, which are mostly fansites.
· death wish had minor tweaks, nothing really significant. I’m pretty happy with this site as-is aside from a few things that I’m in no hurry to fix.
· Heaven’s Requiem got some much-needed dusting—I hadn’t touched it since I moved into this domain. Changes included small content updates, coding tweaks, and error fixing. This site’s in good shape, and while I still hope to expand it to multiple pages one day, I’m happy with it. Also, new affiliate!
· Never Stop Dreaming had similar updates. This site really needs a new layout; I’ll probably get to that long before content updates.
· Defiers of Fate mostly had minor edits today, but I’m hoping to make more significant updates to this site soon. We’ll see what shakes out. For now, the music page has been updated; I always seem to learn odd facts about the music when I update this site. I also made some edits to the linearity article that I’ve been meaning to make for a while.
· Winds of Change had a couple of coding changes (mostly fixes). I’d like to make a substantial content update here soon, so I held off on editing things now.
With that, the fanlisting recode project is complete! Now I can go back to actual site work, ha.

The red crown network now has a guestbook! I’ve actually wanted to make one for years; I always liked guestbooks back in the day but I haven’t had one in ages. Thanks to the Guestbook Revival Project over at Amassment for giving me the push to make it.

I’ll be going through and linking it on all of my sites in the next few days. I only have a handful of sites left in the great fanlisting recode project; I left a couple larger fansites for last since I’d like to make more substantial updates to them.

The recode project continues! Here are the minor tweaks of note.
· 20 years old had a very small update; I had to remove the streaming playlist due to a coding error, so I’ve added links to other places to check out ONE OK ROCK’s music. This site is incredibly outdated and in dire need of a revamp; it’s a high priority for 2016.
· Rare Candy had some minor tweaks. This collective will probably be a low priority until the new games come out.
· Updated the about page on the RuroKen Kyoto arc fanlisting to talk about the newer adaptations. I’d still like to turn this into a fansite, but it’s another one that’s very low on the priority list. So many sites, so little time, etc.

Took a break from the great fanlisting recode project (I’m about two-thirds done) to… build a new fanlisting, haha. This one’s for Marinette (Ladybug) & Adrien (Cat Noir) from the animated show Miraculous ♥

Recently, I changed some of the back-end code for the script that powers my fanlistings, and part of the changes I made mean that I’m having to go in and update every single fanlisting. I’ve taken this opportunity to tidy things up on every site — updating information about the subject and making small coding tweaks. Any significant changes will be mentioned here on the blog, and if you see anything that looks odd, I’ll probably be fixing it soon but would appreciate a heads up.
With that said, here are some updates that took place as part of this process:
· Awakening received a housekeeping update; I’ve gone through and cleaned out broken links and added a new entry to the compilation section. I also updated a couple of the album blurbs; since opening the site last year I’ve sought out a number of the albums I covered on the site and can now talk about them.
· uncontrol received a very minor update; mostly I brushed off the virtual dust bunnies. This site just hit its 5th anniversary; I might actually try and make a new layout. Eventually.
· Beyond the Sky had minor tweaks, and I updated the remake page since it’s finally happening.
· after the fire had minor edits. Things still haven’t aligned to allow me to work on this site, and I don’t see it happening until 2017. I would love to work on it sooner, but it’s a project I want to give my full attention to and I won’t be able to do that anytime soon.
· The layout for the Vagrant Story fanlisting was slightly altered to improve contrast and increase readability. You can consider this a PSA to play Vagrant Story.
