After a round of adoptions, the Final Fantasy II fanlisting has been adopted out, and can now be found here. I’ve also closed 4 other fanlistings.

The Genesis (FFVII) fanlisting is still up for adoption, and will remain open until a new owner is found. If you’re interested, please contact me.

New fanlisting! This one’s for Seven from Final Fantasy Type-0. If you haven’t played it, don’t worry, the site is spoiler free. Honestly there’s not a whole lot to talk about with Seven—Type-0’s not great with character development—but she does have a couple moments late in the game that I don’t want to spoil.

I actually am planning on writing a spoiler-heavy article about Type-0 for Defiers of Fate in the near future; not sure quite yet when it’s going to go up, but hopefully soon. I’ve finished Type-0 twice now and I’m finding I have a lot of things to say about it.

The project that ate up the last few months of my life is finally done. Say hello to Winds of Change, my fansite for my favorite game of all time, Final Fantasy XII. I can say quite easily I’ve never put so much work into a site, but I’ve also never been as happy with the result. It’s a good feeling.

Features everything from a basic introduction to the game to very detailed gameplay info and indepth opinions on the plot and characters. Also, an enormous HD screencap gallery. It’s also the fanlisting for the game, adopted from the amazing Janice. It’s been two months and I’m still happily boggled by this fact.

ivalice.org also has a new layout, which I might tweak later but I like it for now.

I’ve revamped and renamed my fanlisting collective, which is now known as Heartplace. Turns out the bad thing about picking a name based on a fandom is that when you lose interest in the fandom your desire to have a collective name based on it goes too. To be fair I did say something about not expecting the name to last when I picked it, and here we are two years later and poof…

Anyway, I’m happy with this name and hopefully it’ll be the permanent title. To celebrate there’s a bright, colorful layout.

New fanlisting! This one is for Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, along with the remakes, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Hoenn was my absolute favorite generation back in the day, and the remakes are amazing. If you never played R/S (or did and loved them), you should absolutely pick up OR/AS.

Rare Candy has been updated to reflect the new site. Quick note: while Rare Candy is a fansite collective, I made an exception for this; I have no intentions of turning this into a fansite. Not really sure what I’d talk about; I used to run a Pokémon fansite ten years ago but all of the content I had was 1) terrible and 2) stuff you can find on Bulbapedia/Serebii nowadays. Not really much point, as much as I love Hoenn. Also, I’m pretty sure no one needs a guide on how to catch Feebas in the original games at this point.

Anyway, my big project right now is a fansite for FFXII. It’s turning into a huge project, but I’m having a blast with it. Look for it soon.

Opened a fanlisting for one of my favorite games ever, Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. The previous fanlisting was removed from TFL ages ago; I finally decided to bite the bullet and open a new one. The VP fandom is pretty dead these days, but this game still means a lot to me and I wanted to show it some love.

uncontrol, my Zen fansite, now has a fanlisting. Because why not.

No new layout; I no longer have easy access to scans and I still like the one that’s up. At some indeterminate point in the future when I get my hands on scans (or find the ones I used to have) I’ll probably revamp this site. (My physical books are way too battered to be of any use, I’ve read the manga too many times and hauled those books everywhere.)

I swear I didn’t realize I was building this fanlisting on the 3rd of October until I was halfway done.

Anyway, I’ve opened the fanlisting for the first Fullmetal Alchemist movie, Conqueror of Shamballa. Unfortunately I’ve had no ideas for the layout all month, so it’s pretty uninspired. Hopefully I’ll be able to go back later and make something better.

My Tales of Phantasia fanlisting is now crosslisted with the OVA, so I’ve made a new layout for the fanlisting, which includes two skins. The fanlisting also finally has an about page and 40 new codes. Phantasia is one of my all-time favorite games, and I would like to one day expand this site into a fansite, but I don’t plan on doing it for quite some time. For now I’m happy with it as-is. It’s nice to knock something off the new layout to-do list, at least!

Fanlisting deadlines always make me put stuff up early, I swear. That or I need to work faster. (Probably the latter.)

Anyway! The fanlistings for Laguna from FFVIII and the Rurouni Kenshin Kyoto arc are now online. Both of these are fansites in the works; Laguna is the site I’m working on right now. I don’t have a date in mind, but hopefully it’ll be ready soon. (It’s a one-page fansite, and it has a different layout from the fanlisting, incidentally.) I plan to work on the RuroKen site after that.
