After a round of adoptions, the Dune fanlisting has been adopted out, and can be found here. 10 other fanlistings have been closed, including the fanlisting for Zen.

Moonrise is now listed at Those Who Fight.

Recently, I changed some of the back-end code for the script that powers my fanlistings, and part of the changes I made mean that I’m having to go in and update every single fanlisting. I’ve taken this opportunity to tidy things up on every site — updating information about the subject and making small coding tweaks. Any significant changes will be mentioned here on the blog, and if you see anything that looks odd, I’ll probably be fixing it soon but would appreciate a heads up.

With that said, here are some updates that took place as part of this process:

· Awakening received a housekeeping update; I’ve gone through and cleaned out broken links and added a new entry to the compilation section. I also updated a couple of the album blurbs; since opening the site last year I’ve sought out a number of the albums I covered on the site and can now talk about them.

· uncontrol received a very minor update; mostly I brushed off the virtual dust bunnies. This site just hit its 5^th anniversary; I might actually try and make a new layout. Eventually.

· Beyond the Sky had minor tweaks, and I updated the remake page since it’s finally happening.

· after the fire had minor edits. Things still haven’t aligned to allow me to work on this site, and I don’t see it happening until 2017. I would love to work on it sooner, but it’s a project I want to give my full attention to and I won’t be able to do that anytime soon.

· The layout for the Vagrant Story fanlisting was slightly altered to improve contrast and increase readability. You can consider this a PSA to play Vagrant Story.

uncontrol, my Zen fansite, now has a fanlisting. Because why not.

No new layout; I no longer have easy access to scans and I still like the one that’s up. At some indeterminate point in the future when I get my hands on scans (or find the ones I used to have) I’ll probably revamp this site. (My physical books are way too battered to be of any use, I’ve read the manga too many times and hauled those books everywhere.)

· So I could have sworn I did this months ago, but apparently not! uncontrol has been updated to reflect the move to this domain, and the introduction has been slightly edited to reflect the fact that Viz put out an even cheaper digital version of the manga last year. I’m still the only one who actually cares, but hey! Good news. I’d like to add a couple of images to brighten up the content pages, but other than that uncontrol can be considered static. There’s not exactly much to add.

· Shape the Future is over on this domain now, but I want to edit that site like I want a hole in the head. I’ll get to it eventually.

· I’m currently working on a site for Squall of Final Fantasy VIII fame. Look out for it around the end of January/early February. Don’t ask me how he pushed his way to the front of the to-do list, I don’t know how it happened either.
